And doesn't Veronica Broccoli sound like an ageing continental film star of the Forties, all dyed black hair, red lipstick and a cigarette in a holder? No? Just me, then.
Yes, it does!
I showed a friend around my garden and said, "And this broccoli is Veronica." She gave me a weird look-"You name your veg?"
Yes. Yes, I do. This pepper is Charley and his brother Steve, ect. ect. ;)
Wow your garden is amazing!! Nice work! I'm jealous. Luckily I paid someone to deliver all my organic veggies, or we would have gone with out....
